MFA members invited to a special free screening - The New Boy

MFA members are invited to a special FREE screening of The New Boy featuring Cate Blanchett and Aswan Reid. This Cannes premiered film is set in a remote monastery in 1940s Australia. Described by Variety magazine as “a young Aboriginal boy's spirituality meshes uneasily with Christian doctrine in Warwick Thornton's ambitious, visually lustrous fable”.

These free screenings are presented by the MFA DE&I Council, with the support of Val Morgan, and with free popcorn and a soft drink thanks to Atomic 212. Screenings in Melbourne and Sydney will take place on Wednesday 16 August. Register below for your free place!
