MFA Leadership Series

MFA Leadership Series: Leading Change

MFA Leadership Series is all about inspiring, informing and motivating us to continuously grow and become exceptional leaders.

The Series isn’t a workshop.  The goal of the MFA Leadership Series is to challenge us to think differently.

Our focus is on developing the business and leadership skills of our MFA community. Through a series of events, we aim to motivate, educate, challenge and connect people in our industry.

Melbourne: 4 June 2026

Sydney: 18 June 2026

Change is part of how we work, and it’s only accelerating.

For today’s leaders, the opportunity is building the capability to lead through it with clarity, confidence and impact.

Our June session explores how leaders can navigate and lead change in a world of constant shifts, competing priorities and evolving ways of working, strengthening the skills that matter now, and into the future.

We’re bringing together two experts to share practical perspectives across two critical areas:

Driving Change
How change happens in practice, the structures, decisions and behaviours that turn intent into action.

Experiencing Change
How teams respond, adapt and move forward, and how leaders shape that experience in a way that builds momentum.

Grounded in real examples, this session will unpack what works, what doesn’t, and what leading change looks like when it’s done well, for the work, and for your team.

The keynotes and discussions with your peers will ensure you leave with useful frameworks to build the capability to lead change, the most important skill needed for now and the future.

The Future of Leadership is Intergenerational.
Are you ready to lead the way?

Katriina Tähkä,
CEO, A Human Agency

Katriina brings 20+ years of leading change in complex environments, from reshaping organisations to building new systems from the ground up. She focuses on what most leaders miss: the unspoken resistance, the need to unlearn, and the conversations that don’t happen but should.

Declan Edwards,
Founder, BU Happiness

A speaker to global organisations including PwC and the United Nations, Declan brings a science-backed perspective on how people adapt in changing environments. Because the leaders who stand out today are the ones who can both drive changeand create the conditions for their teams to move through it and keep performing.
