ROLE PURPOSE

We’re looking for a creative & strategic minded Senior Social Media Manager to help deliver best in class strategic social thinking and innovation for our client’s businesses and brands. This role is responsible for supporting the Social Director in leading a social team, and ensuring all strategy, creative thinking and output is fully integrated with all other efforts across the company’s portfolio of brands. The Senior Social Media Manager will lead and develop the Social Manager, Social Executive and Coordinator, to provide best in class social media content, campaigns and strategies.

  • Drive, within Publicis Content and with clients, an elevated and longer-term vision around the state of social media and wider content implications for the industry, with a focus on our clients.
  • Drive the awareness and implementation of new platform developments and content opportunities within the Publicis Content team, to the benefit of our client brands.
  • To create, concept, and present social media strategies (across creative content, organic and paid media) and integrated marketing campaigns aligned to our clients’ media or communications strategy.
  • Understand and be capable in using analytics, performance, trends, competitor behaviour and best practice to optimise and fuel new strategies where relevant.
  • Monitor and analyse social media trends and their impact on clients’ brands, consumers and paid strategies.
  • Interpret and execute the direction of strategy/planning, into ongoing content plans (including concepting, creating and reporting), aligned to the broader social media strategy.
  • Maintain monthly reporting that includes overall client performance, category learnings, brands learnings and suggested optimisations moving forward
  • Develop monthly posting calendars (ahead of time) in line with social approach and campaign/partnership requirements
  • Develop new and productive relationships with appropriate media partners i.e. Facebook, Twitter etc, to have access to best in class ways of working and new format innovations.
  • Be an ambassador for Publicis Content and provide specialist
  • advice to clients where required alongside the client teams.
  • Understand our client’s brands and how best to articulate them via social media while adhering to brand guidelines
  • Oversee the social team’s output, ensuring a superior quality of communication and project delivery is provided at all times.
  • Develop the social team, ensuring growth and development and leading & mentoring fellow team members
