About MFA Television Foundations
We recognised the fast pace nature of the evolving television industry. Foundation TV knowledge is imperative to navigate this changing medium.
It is soon to be a world where TV is consumed on multi devices, traded in many ways, using varied data sets.
Our ambition is to ensure that we are ready for the changes, by ensuring MFA members have the consistent foundation knowledge across television planning, buying and evaluation.
The content has been developed collaboratively across all MFA Media Agency Members (it is Australian based).
- 25+ broadcast television experts created and tested the content
- Aligned standards and learning outcomes
- Content creation was agency led
This industry recognised program sets a benchmark for what constitutes basic television proficiency, ensuring that all members have a clear understanding of the television landscape, including its language and terminology, planning, the buying and trading models, and the evaluation and measurement methods.
Participants will receive professional certification as evidence of their knowledge upon successful completion of one x two-hour exam.
The program has been designed for anyone, at any level, working in a client facing function, television and non-television.
However, if you are employed at an MFA member agency and have less than 2 years’ experience, it is a must have capability.
