About the gig

Our Google Analytics Manager works within our growing Analytics team and owns select customer initiatives to develop and maintain with outlined deliverables. You’ll be responsible for managing the day to day deployment of media analytics tags, website tracking and supporting enterprise deployments of Google Analytics 360. You’ll also provide technical assistance, discovering, analysing and presenting insights from web analytics data to recommend improvements to our customers’ businesses.

As a natural collaborator, you will leverage the opportunity to work closely with our paid and earned media teams to identify gaps in data capture and collaboratively implement enhancements along with driving special projects and working on insight led initiatives to enhance media and client business process efficiencies.

To be successful in this role, you’ll need to be a true problem solver, with an inquisitive mind and enjoy working both independently and as part of our team. You’ll be able to take broad semi-structured data from all corners of the digital universe and use this information to build stories, simplify challenges and deepen relationships with customers.


Working as part of a large team, we might spot you:

  • Responding to client website management tasks on GA goal tracking, website audience behaviour related tag and trafficking.
  • Leveraging Google analytics audiences integration with GMP for driving better media targeting and media ROI
  • Exploring and planning first party data collection points within Google analytics and GMP
  • Working with media teams in effectively planning remarketing strategies on the back of audience behaviour data within analytics
  • Documenting, implementing and troubleshooting tagging, tracking and analytics reporting
  • Creating tracking plans and data layer guides to support enterprise web analytics
  • Creating and implementing measurement plans in line with customer’s business outcome
  • Developing dashboards and reporting templates based on the key metrics and defined ROI’s of customers and customer teams
  • Performing data analysis on search marketing, web and mobile analytics, digital marketing channel and user journey
  • Prioritising, implementing and project managing analytics and insight recommendations

Some essentials that will help you get the job:

  • 3+ years of data or digital marketing analysis experience in an agency
  • In-depth understanding of Google Analytics platforms including coding and tag implementation
  • Experience in Google Analytics / GA360 and integrations with GMP (Campaign manager, DV 360, SA360 experience)
  • Demonstrated experience with floodlight (or other media) tag management and deployment. Understanding of javascript, data layer and tagging approaches across digital assets, including mobile applications.
  • Demonstrated experience with Google Tag Manager and non-standard implementations (JavaScript/CSS)
  • Demonstrated experience with data visualisation tools like Google Data Studio or Tableau
  • Fluency in Microsoft Excel and some understanding of relational databases/SQL
  • Working knowledge or experience with the AdTech/MarTech ecosystems, with an understanding of how technology platforms integrate with media buying tools – eg Google Marketing Cloud, Google Ads/Programmatic, Facebook
  • GA 360, GTM certification required
  • Experience with BigQuery & Data Studio links advantageous
