Overview:

The Team

The Digital team at TMP is responsible for rolling out optimised digital campaigns across our portfolio of clients. We are a tight-knit team, that enjoys a fast-paced and supportive work culture, centred around knowledge-sharing and continuous learning.

The Role

The Digital Executive supports the Digital team to deliver and report on digital campaigns across all digital channels in accordance with the media plans. The role is also responsible for mentoring and managing a Digital Coordinator.

Responsibilities

Campaign Implementation

  • Accurately implement paid digital campaigns (search, social, and programmatic) across a portfolio of clients in a timely manner, with the assistance of the Digital Coordinator.
  • Ensuring correct tags and pixels are implemented and necessary metrics are being measured accurately.
  • Gather creative assets by the deadlines and according to the media plan and creative specifications.

Campaign Measurement

  • Monitor live campaigns on a daily basis, identifying and resolving issues, tracking pacing, and results, and maintaining quality assurance.
  • Carry out SEM keyword research and create SEM campaign builds, uncovering opportunities to fuel the client strategy.
  • Have a thorough awareness of allocated campaign budgets and take action to manage when limits are being reached, or if budgets are pacing behind.
  • Work with the Digital Coordinator to update the spend tracker document consistently and accurately.
  • Brief in the Data & Analytics team, to create informative and insightful dashboards to share with our clients.
  • Analyse campaign data in the platforms and dashboards, pull out data-led and actionable insights, and suggest and carry out optimizations to ensure campaigns deliver against client goals and objectives.

Reporting

  • Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely campaign reports for clients by the Digital Coordinator, including performing thorough quality assurance checks.

Planning

  • Occasionally assist Digital Managers and the Integrated Team to create strategic responses to campaign briefs, by consulting on platform and targeting capabilities, formats, lighting, and budgets.

Client-facing

  • Where required, present campaign results and optimisation recommendations to clients in WIPs, in a clear, and succinct manner.

People Management

  • Be responsible for the output and progression of the Digital Coordinator, including training, delegation, workload management, setting deadlines, and giving regular feedback.
  • Have regular 1-to-1’s to discuss overall happiness at work, any issues being experienced, what support and training is required, providing feedback, setting goals etc.
  • Share feedback on the Digital Coordinator’s performance, and overall happiness with the Senior Digital Executive or Digital Manager.
  • Carry out regular quality assurance checks on work carried out by Digital Coordinators.

Communication & Ways of Working

  • Ensure clear, regular, and consistent communication with team members and stakeholders, including workload updates, task completion, asking questions, sharing feedback, and communicating any issues.
  • Ensure your team is adhering to any deadlines set as well as Digital SLA's.
  • Effectively and independently manage your own workload, as well as your Coordinator’s workload.
  • Troubleshoot and escalate any issues encountered to senior team members in a timely manner.
  • Develop strong working relationships with internal stakeholders, including the integrated planning team, the client services team, and the data & analytics teams.

Learning and development

  • Attend training sessions that will allow you to learn and grow in your role and encourage your Digital Coordinator to do the same.
  • Identify your own gaps in knowledge and skills and requesting training when needed.
  • Take part in industry events and share knowledge, innovations, and insights with the wider team.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 1+ year in a similar coordinator/assistant role in a digital advertising agency.
  • Experience setting up and running ads in social media, programmatic and search platforms – including Meta, TikTok, Snapchat, LinkedIn, DV360, The Trade Desk, and Google Ads.
  • Basic knowledge of website tagging and pixel implementation, including Google Tag Manager.
  • Basic knowledge and experience of Google Analytics 4.
  • Numerical skills, comfortable with assessing a high volume of numbers and data.
  • Ability to analyse and interpret data, pull out actionable insights, and convert into optimization recommendations for clients.
  • A frequent and clear communicator, with the ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and can pick up errors within campaigns and reports.
  • Hyper-organized and structured with the ability to independently manage your own workload and prioritize tasks by deadline, as well as managing the workload and deadlines of the Digital Coordinator.
